Amal se zindagi banti hai


Yunaani asaateer ke mutaabiq, jangju baadshah Theseus kay paas aik mash’hoor jangi jahaaz tha jo kayi ma’arko’n mein fatah yaab hua. Log isay bohat ehtraam ki nigaah se dekhtay thay.
Lekin har kmaal ko zwaal hai; waqt guzarnay kay saath saath jahaaz kay mukhtalif hissay khraab honay lagay. Jo takhtay khraab hotay gaye, unki jga naye lagaaye jaatay rahay. Rafta rafta keel, rassay, baad’baan aur deegar hissay bhi badalnay parray. Bil-akhir jahaaz ke tamaam puraanay hissay badal diye gaye.


Ab aik falsafiyana behs ka aaghaaz hua;
Kya yeh badla hua behri jahaaz wohi Theseus ka “asli jahaaz” hai?
Agar aisa nahi hai tau kis mqaam par yeh asli jahaaz nahi raha?
Agar koi puraanay shikasta takhto’n ko jma kar kay doosra behri jahaaz bna lay tay phir kaun sa jahaaz ‘asli‘ hai?
Woh jahaaz jis ke tamaam purzay badlay ja chukay hain?
Ya woh jahaaz jo asl purzo’n se dobaara banaaya gaya?
Ya asl woh hai jo zehni tasawwur mein hai?

Yani kisi cheez ki haqeeqat ya shnaakht kis tarah mumkin hai?


Rait ke kitnay zarray mil kar ‘dhair‘ banta hai?

Aik zarra to dhair nahi hai, dau zarray bhi dhair nahi kehlaye’n gay. Lekin aap musalsal aik aik zarra shaamil kartay jaaye’n tau kaun sa woh khaas zarra hai jis kay shamil hotay hi ‘dhair‘ wujood mein aa jaata hai?
Aisa koi khaas zarra nahi hai. Yahi is maslay ki paicheedgi hai.

Yani, aksar hum andaazay laga kar cheezo’n kay baaray mein faislay kar letay hain. Agar hum bareeki se dekhai’n tau in cheezo’n ki koi qat’ee aur hatmi sarhad nahi hoti.


Agar isi gehray swaal ko zehan mein rakh kar hum insaan ko parakhain, tau phir is ki asl kya hogi?

Kya hum woh hain jo hum maazi mein thay
‘Lekin maazi tau hmaari kahaani ka hissa hai, hmaari asl nahi.
Theseus kay jahaaz ki tarah hamaaray jism kay khaliaat bhi saat se das bars mein taqreeban mukammal tor par tabdeel ho jaatay hain yani hum takhreeb aur tameer kay musalsal amal se guzartay rehtay hain. Agar hmaaray jism, khyalaat, yaadai’n aur aadatai’n yaksar badal gayi hain to phir hum dobaara paida huay hain ya az sar-e-nau tameer huay hain?

Heraclitus bhi isi haqeeqat par yuu’n roshni daalta hai;
“Koi bhi shakhs aik darya mein baar-e-digar qadam nahi rakh sakta. Kyun ke na woh darya waisa rehta hai aur na woh shakhs wohi rehta hai.”

Waqt ke saath saath hmaari soch, rawaiyye aur maqsad sab kuch badalta rehta hai. Maazi humai’n bnaata zaroor hai, magar hum faqat maazi nahi hain.

Phir kya hum woh hain jo ‘is waqt’ hum hain?
Agar asl sirf lamha-e-mojood hai to har tabdeeli kay saath insaan ki asl bhi badal rahi hai.
Tau phir hum woh bhi nahi hain jo hum ‘is waqt’ hain.
Hum musalsal haalat-e-safar mein hain. Hmaara maazi, hmaari yaadein, hmaari hasratai’n, hmaara seekhnay ka safar sab hmaaray andar jaari hai.

Phir shaayad hum woh hain, jo hum apnay baaray mein koi ‘tasawwur’ rakhtay hain?
Apnay baarat mein hmaara ‘tasawwur’ hma ari shakhsiyat ko sab se zyaada mutaasir karta hai. Zindagi ki samt aur faislay hmara self-image tay karta hai. Baharhaal ‘self-image’ bhi hamesha haqeeqat nahi hota. Sirf doosray hi nahi balki hum bhi khud ko under ya over-estimate kartay hain.
Is liye, hum woh bhi nahi hain jo hum apnay baaray mein samajhtay hain.


Dar’asl hum in teenon ka milaap hain.
Hmaara maazi hmaari bunyaad hai lekin woh hmai’n mukammal define nahi karta. Hum is waqt jo hain, woh hma/ari mojooda haalat hai lekin yeh bhi hmaari mukammal tasveer nahi. Aur phir khud kay baaray mein hmaara apna tasawwur bhi waqt kay saath badalta rehta hai.

Insaani wujood aik mustaqil haalat nahi, aik musalsal safar hai.
Hum sab ‘ban-nay’ kay marhalay se guzar rahay hain. Agar hmaari saans chal rahi hai to hmaari takmeel ka safar bhi jaari hai. Hum har saans kay saath na sirf apni kahaani likh rahay hain balkay apni zaat ka kirdaar bhi takhleeq kar rahay hain. Hmaara har faisla aur tajriba hmai’n badal raha hai.

Zindagi ko zinda-dili se jeenay ka amal hi dar’asl manzil hai. Yahi ‘amal’ hi hmaari ‘may’ ko takhleeq karta hai. Yahi amal hmaara jahannam aur hmaari jannat hai.

Amal se zindagi banti hai, jannat bhi jahannum bhi
Ye khaaki apni fitrat mai’n, na noori hai na naari hai
